As the weather starts to get cooler and the days seem to get shorter, I find myself curling up with a good book even more than usual. I’ve always loved reading, but something about the fall and wintertime just make me want to snuggle up in a cozy blanket, with some warm apple cider or hot chocolate, and lose myself in a good book. Now that fall is finally upon us (can I get an amen?!) I wanted to share my fall reading list with you guys! Admittedly, I don’t read as much as I should but these are the four books that I’m hoping to get through over the next few months.

You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero
We’ve all heard of this book by now right? I’ve posted about it a couple of times over on Instagram stories and I’m about halfway through this guy. It’s definitely a good book and a fun read, but for whatever reason I’ve never been good at finishing self-help books. This one I definitely want to finish though, so I’m going to push to finish it before the end of the year.
Amazon’s Summary:Â
In this refreshingly entertaining how-to guide, bestselling author and world-traveling success coach, Jen Sincero, serves up 27 bitesized chapters full of hilariously inspiring stories, sage advice, easy exercises, and the occasional swear word, helping you to: Identify and change the self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviors that stop you from getting what you want, Create a life you totally love. And create it NOW, Make some damn money already. The kind you’ve never made before.
By the end of You Are a Badass, you’ll understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can’t change, how to change what you don’t love, and how to use The Force to kick some serious ass.
Influencer: Building Your Personal Brand in the Age of Social Media by Brittany Hennessy
Another book I’ve raved about on Twitter and Instagram; another book I’m only halfway through, haha. This book is STACKED with invaluable info and tips for aspiring bloggers/influencers and I highly recommend it if you’re someone interested in this space. Not only is it super helpful, but Brittany is literally hilarious and the way she writes really makes you feel like you’re best friends just having a chat in your living room.
Amazon’s Summary:
Every one of your favorite influencers started with zero followers and had to make a lot of mistakes to get where they are today—earning more money each year than their parents made in the last decade. But to become a top creator, you need to understand the strategies behind the Insta-ready lifestyle . . .
Whether you’re just starting out or you’re ready for bigger campaigns, Hennessy guides you through core influencer principles. From creating content worth double tapping and using hashtags to get discovered, to understanding FTC rules and delivering metrics, she’ll show you how to elevate your profile, embrace your edge, and make money—all while doing what you love.
The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes by Diane Chamberlain
This one is a fiction novel, highly recommended to me by a friend and I’m really excited to dive into it. I love a good bit of suspense/mystery and feel like it’ll be such a page-turner. I can’t wait to dig into this one!
Amazon’s Summary:
In 1977, pregnant Genevieve Russell disappeared. Twenty years later, her remains are discovered and Timothy Gleason is charged with murder. But there is no sign of the unborn child.
CeeCee Wilkes knows how Genevieve Russell died, because she was there. And she knows what happened to her missing infant, because two decades ago she made the devastating choice to raise the baby as her own. Now Timothy Gleason is facing the death penalty, and she has another choice to make. Tell the truth and destroy her family. Or let an innocent man die in order to protect a lifetime of lies.
The Woman in the Mirror by Alexandra Mallory
Someone on Facebook recommended this book and said she literally finished it in a matter of days. Again, I love a good mystery and while I don’t typically enjoy the “spooky” part of the fall season (all the skulls and spider webs? no thanks…), I have to admit there’s no better season to read a book like this.
Amazon’s Summary:
Alexandra loves martinis and men. But she hates misogynists. Men want her. Women like her, but they don’t always know why. She has an insatiable curiosity and sometimes takes risks she shouldn’t. Trying to escape the consequences of her risky behavior, she rents a room in a clifftop bungalow, where she finds herself caught in a web of deception and jealousy. When she untangles the lies, she’s compelled to right a terrible wrong, even at the risk of revealing secrets of her own. A hypnotic sociopath you can’t help but love. A gripping, page-turning journey, peeling back more and more layers through tantalizing revelations of the past. Start reading Alexandra’s story of obsession and vengeance today, you won’t be able to stop.
