Wow, it feels like forever since I was last here! Apologies for the lack of a Sunday Chat post over the weekend (it was one of those, “I just need to relax” kind of Sundays). Any who, today I am back with one of my favorite new outfits for fall. You probably remember these OTK boots from this post a couple of weeks ago and I was so excited to finally take them out for a spin over the weekend. I think it’s officially safe to say that over the knee boots with a cute fall dress may become my official fall uniform, ha! 

My dress is a super light and breezy number from Forever 21. Linking a couple of similar styles that I’ve had my eye on here (this one is on MAJOR sale and so girly!) and here (ooh those statement sleeves!). Y’all already know how I feel about a flow-y dress with long sleeves— they’re just PERFECT for transitioning seasons! Also was a huge fan of this sort of cranberry/pink color combo happening in this pattern.

My OTK boots are from JustFab (as you probably already know) and I love them but I do have a confession to make. You know how in this post I said I ordered these in a half size up and with a wider leg? Well I thought that was a good idea at the time to make sure I had room to wear them with jeans and socks as the weather cools down BUT I didn’t account for wearing them on bare legs…aka they’re too big, ha! We definitely encountered a bit of difficulty keeping them up in this shoot, as they kept sliding down my legs 🙁 that’s okay though. Going to give them a go with some jeans later this week and will give another update over on my instagram (follow me if you aren’t already? shameless self-promotion, I know 😉 )
