This post is very exciting because it’s my very first FALL post on PLH! Ahh! I know it technically isn’t fall yet, but those who know me know that I have been counting down to September (my own decided start to fall) since like July, hah! I’ve been dying to bust out all of my favorite cozy sweaters, and cognac booties, so when the weather in NYC turned just a little bit chilly, you know I was all over it. Plus we’d been trying to have this picnic for months and the weather was so perfect last weekend, we totally had to take advantage. We really don’t get over to Central Park as much as I’d like (or as much as you would think New Yorkers do) so this was a nice little weekend treat for us. Side note: wait until you see the adorable picnic basket and blanket set we used. Would you believe me if I told you that Craig picked it out on his own? Hah! Well he did, and they’re both from Amazon for those who are wondering 😉
Was I lying about that picnic basket or what, y’all? So adorable, I’m dying to use it as much as possible before it gets too cold. Okay okay, moving on to the outfit as usual. My jeans are from American Eagle (told y’all I get all of my jeans from there!) and are the perfect mid tone denim color. I tend to go for darker jeans but I love this color with the distressed look. My tank is also from American Eagle and it’s one of their great basic pieces that are so nice to have in your closet because you can throw them on with basically anything. My cardigan is from Forever 21 and when I tell you that I’m obsessed with this thing, I mean it! The color is so pretty for fall and winter time, it has the best relaxed fit and it is so big you can literally wrap yourself up in it. Craig actually calls it my “sweater blanket” so that tells you something, hah!
My booties are my favorite pair from American Eagle; I’m such a sucker for cognac accessories, it’s actually sad. My watch is from Kate Spade, and my bracelets are from Walmart! See them in better detail in this post and they were literally only $14! My sunnies are my classic Wayfarers from RayBan and I think that’s everything!
