Pretty Little Updates
Wow, it has been a long time! Where do I even begin? Well first and foremost, I got a new job! Woo! For those that don’t know, I’m a graphic designer and my latest job is with a high-end skincare brand. That’s all I’ll say for now; I don’t know why but I feel like I shouldn’t disclose where I actually work? Maybe that’ll change one day though, ha! Any way, since my last Weekly Rewind, I celebrated my 25th birthday in February and Craig’s 25th just a few weeks ago. I started my new job and have been really trying to refocus myself and revamp this space to reflect that. I still have a lot of ideas and plans for PLH this year (including email newsletters for one!) so definitely head over to my sidebar and sign up for those if you like what you see here. I’ve ALSO finally created a Twitter* for my blog! I kind of deviated from Twitter for the past couple years but I want to extend PLH over there so that I can directly chat with you guys more, plus live tweet during my fave shows like The Bachelor(ette) and This Is Us, ha! Basically I just want to engage with you all more and really get to know you. I’ve been trying to do that on Instagram with #QuestionOfTheDay captions (I LOVE your responses btw!) and I think Twitter will be a good avenue for that as well.

Pretty Little Loves
This is a NEW category that I’m adding to these Weekly Rewinds 🙂 Here I’ll break down random things I’m loving this week, such as music, movies, TV shows, a news story, and so on. Just another way for you and me to connect really.
- Can we just talk about Cardi B please? I’m obsessed with her new album, and I’ll be the first to tell you I was NOT excited for it, nor did I plan to even listen to it TBH. But now I’m hooked and I listen to it straight through almost everyday lolz.
- Recently went on a Trader Joe’s run (there’s one a few blocks from my new job so I go frequently these days, ha!) and have been LOVING all the new snacks I’m trying. Some of my faves are the ice cream bon bons (OMG heaven), white cheddar puffs, and the blueberry breakfast bars. So good.
- Craig and I just finished This Is Us (we binged the entire thing in a matter of weeks) and lawd, I love that show. Can’t wait for it to come back this fall! #MoreReasonsToLoveFall (if you’re an OG PLH reader, you know my obsession with fall already 🙂 )
- The MyLifeAsEva x ColourPop collab is everything! Specifically loving the Ultra Blotted Lip formula and can’t recommend enough. I did a haul over on Instagram Stories and you can check it out in my Story Highlights if you want a full review!
- One of my favorite bloggers and biggest inspirations, Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam, launched her new dress line today!! I’m so excited for her and am so in love with the collection. Literally me shopping the collection this AM:

I have been loving statement earrings this past month and keep finding myself with at least one pair in my hands/cart every time I go to checkout, ha! Also I really need a new spring jacket that’s lightweight, neutral and has pockets so this guy looks like a winner in my book.

Cheers to the freakin’ weekend! Let’s talk plans, shall we?
You mean besides pretending that I’m not dealing with MAJOR FOMO from missing Beychella Weekend 2? Well this weekend, Craig and I are heading down to Philly for my niece’s 5th birthday party! I’m excited to spend time with my family for the weekend, even though in the back of my mind I KNOW I have a bunch of things that I need to work on and tackle once we get back (hello, laundry!). But overall it should be a good weekend and hopefully I’m able to get a little bit of rest between all the fun & productivity.
Well that wraps up this week’s post! Are you guys glad that these are back? I really like them because it feels like I’m wrapping up the week with a nice little bow and can start fresh after the weekend.
