Hey there, I’m Kacie and welcome to my blog, The Pretty Little Hustler.
I stumbled upon a quote during my senior year of college that, quite frankly, changed my life. It read:
This (and a combination of other forces that you can read about HERE) lead me to the realization that you have to take charge of your life in order to make things happen. Some of us may be born with a silver spoon in our mouths or have an insane good luck streak (mind sharing some of that, please?), but the rest of us have two choices: to sit around hoping that destiny will make our dreams come true, or going out and hustling to ensure that our dreams come true. As for me? I’d say I’m definitely the latter.
Which brings me to my life right now. I’m a recent college grad (go ‘Canes!), living in the greatest city in the world, NYC, with my boyfriend (and amazing photographer!) Craig. I’m a graphic designer at my day job and I absolutely love it. Creativity runs through my veins, so I love that I get to be creative not only at work but also here at PLH!
My hope for this space is to create something not only beautiful, but also meaningful. I want to be a resource for you guys; whether that is through my affordable fashion & beauty finds; advice for navigating your twenties; my recommendations for what to do, eat, and see in this crazy city that I call home; or my travel guides; you name it! I want to be there for it all, and I want you guys to be here with me. Life is a journey, and they say that it takes a village to raise a child, but I believe that a person needs that village for the rest of their life.
So I invite you to come on this journey with me, as I navigate life in my twenties, this big, beautiful concrete jungle, and hustle my way to the top one day at a time.
