NYC may be a concrete jungle but trust me, there are pockets of beautiful, refreshing nature you guys! And one of the best places that I’ve found to just unplug and escape the grind is the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in Prospect Park. Seriously you guys, this park is beautiful and all of the gorgeous flowers, plants, and creeks really make you feel like you’re not in the city for a second, ha!
Last spring, Craig found out about their annual Cherry Blossom Festival where they invite everyone to come see the beautiful Cherry Blossom trees in full bloom and have a ton of fun things going on celebrating the Japanese culture. We loved it so much that we knew we had to go back when festival season came around this year.
Now obviously we didn’t get many photos of the Cherry Blossoms (sorry guys! The park is seriously packed during the festival and getting a nice shot of the trees is tricky!) but we did get some of the other gorgeous plants and flowers in the park. But let’s get on to my outfit details shall we?
It was a pretty chilly day this time so I opted for my favorite, go-to pair of ripped jeans from American Eagle (seriously ALL of my jeans are from there, except maybe one pair haha). My tee is a staple in my book and also from American Eagle. It’s such a great basic piece that you can throw on anytime of year, for so many different occasions. And my jacket is pretty old but I want to say it’s from Forever 21! My booties are also from American Eagle (surprise, surprise!) from last year. I promise this post is not sponsored, I just really like American Eagle for basics + denim!
Woo, well that’s all I’ve got for today ladies! Let me know what your go-to jeans are in the comments!
