If you follow me on Instagram, you know that it was a whopping 90 degrees this weekend in NYC *insert crying emoji here*. I’d originally planned for some fall activities and to knock some things off my fall bucket list (which you can read about in this post) but that just wasn’t an option in that heat. So instead, Craig and I decided to spend Saturday exploring Downtown Brooklyn and did a little grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s for like the first time ever, ha! To combat the heat, I decided to nix my favorite jeans and flannel combo for this ultra breezy, lightweight fall dress that has been my favorite this year.
My dress is an oldie but goodie from Forever 21. You know my love for that store. Some really great pieces for really, really affordable prices; it’s a win-win! I love that this one in particular has sleeves, which are key to transitioning a summer dress to the cooler seasons. My booties are actually from JustFab, and you can see my full review on these babies (and my other recent bootie purchases!) in this post from last week. You may be surprised but even with the wedge heel, these were super comfy you guys. Definitely recommend and they’re under fifty bucks! #steal
Finally, my shoulder bag is from Forever 21 and the cute bow keychain that I added is from H&M; wanted to give it a little something extra, ya know?
