Welcome to my monthly recap! Here I’ll share all the things I loved, bought, watched, listened to and more during the previous month.
Pretty Little Purchases
I didn’t do a ton of shopping this month, besides picking up a few things in preparation for our trip earlier in the month. I’m so incredibly ready for spring and it’s taking all of my willpower to not buy all the flow-y dresses and espadrilles. Send help!
Fave Purchases:
Treated myself to some goodies from Kate Spade NY for my birthday. Can’t wait to style them with some spring dresses!
This super comfy and perfectly casual top. It’s been my go-to on the weekends.
I basically lived in this adorable swimsuit during my trip to the Dominican Republic last month.
Trader Joe’s flowers that are currently still going strong on my dining table as I write this 🙂
Pretty Little Memories
February flew by but was such a great month! It was my birthday month (shoutout to my fellow Aquarius babes out there!) so naturally I just felt happier and more positive all month. We started off the month at this awesome club called House of Yes for their Beyoncé night and it was SO much fun. Then Craig and I celebrated my birthday in the DR (I hope you aren’t sick of hearing that yet!) and it was seriously the best trip of my life. I’m working on a blog pos recapping our trip so keep an eye out for that, and check out Instagram if you missed any posts from that trip! We also spent a weekend in Philly with my family and celebrated my nephew’s 11th birthday, which was really nice. I went to a concert which turned out to be a nice time (I mentioned on Twitter that I wasn’t that familiar with the rapper but Craig really likes him). And overall I feel like I’m starting to get myself back into a groove/routine. I didn’t post nearly as much as I wanted to on here but hopefully I’ll get better about that in March.

What I Listened to…
Still listening to a ton of podcasts (I listed a few of my faves in last month’s recap but let me know in the comments if you would like to see a full blog post about all the ones I’ve been loving!). Also randomly got back into some of my old country music faves and specifically had Mercy by Brett Young playing on repeat.
What I Watched…
So many of my shows are back and I’m so happy! I’m a big reality TV girl so I’ve been in heaven watching The Bachelor on Mondays, Siesta Key on Tuesdays, Survivor (ME AND CRAIG’S FAVE!) and The Challenge on Wednesdays, and How to Get Away With Murder on Thursdays. We also went to the movies to see Glass, the new M. Night Shyamalan movie, and watched the first two movies (it’s part of a trilogy) at home before we went. It was enjoyable but I’d say that the second movie in the series, Split, is the best one.
Where We Ate…
La Contenta Oeste
I went here for dinner and drinks one night after work with Vanessa and wow it was so good! First of all the restaurant and decor are too cute and the food/drinks were delish. We got the fish tacos, queso fundido, chips & guac, and dessert (I forget which ones) and everything was so yummy. Definitely recommend.
Lucy’s Cantina Royale
Craig and I stopped here for a late-night snack after the concert I mentioned earlier. I’d been to this place before for happy hour with some coworkers and really enjoyed it. They have great deals during happy hour and late-night, and I’d recommend the nachos, chicken wings and I want to say their tacos are also pretty tasty!
Doughnut Plant
OMG I finally had donuts from Doughnut Plant (courtesy of my boss for my birthday!) and they were incredible. So many good flavors and easily some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you stumble upon one when you’re in the city!
