Well friends, we’ve officially hit peak summertime, and it feels so good. Craig and I have been down in Florida visiting our families in Tampa and Jacksonville for the past few weeks and it has been really nice. Probably one of my favorite parts of remote working is that we can truly work from anywhere, so taking extended trips down to Florida for the past two summers has been so amazing. In case you couldn’t tell from this month’s mood board, I’m fully leaning into the slower pace of Florida-living right now and craving all the beach time I can get. To me, that’s what summer is all about.
July Intentions
1) To just enjoy the summer! Honestly, a lot of things are up in the air for next month (without getting too into it: we found out we have to move out of our apartment at the end of August) and it’ll probably be super busy so I just want to enjoy this month in Florida with our families. Give me all the beach days, hot afternoons by the pool, and dripping ice cream cones!
2) Experiment more in the kitchen. I really want to work on cooking some new recipes and baking more things from scratch. I’ve been feeling really inspired lately so I’m hoping to pull a few new recipes from Pinterest and trying those out this month!
3) Keep up the newfound momentum with my blog/content creation. The last couple months were big for me in terms of brand collaborations and it’s been really exciting to get so many awesome opportunities. It’s also been nice to bring in some extra income since we have so many expensive things coming up (moving, planning a wedding, etc.). Hoping to keep that momentum going in July and create more content that I’m proud of!
