SHOP THE POST
I’ve been wanting to tell you guys about this new service that I’ve been trying out and am so excited to share today. It’s no secret that I have a bit of a shopping problem (lol), and that as a blogger, you have to constantly have a stream of new clothing to shoot. Plus with my new job this year, I’ve been wanting to update my wardrobe more often so that I can look nice for work. Enter FashionPass, the subscription-based service that allows you to rent cute and trendy pieces for any occasion!
What is FashionPass?
Like I said, FashionPass is a service where you pay a certain amount per month based on the plan you choose, and you get to rent unlimited pieces from them each month. They offer three plans, Socialite, Trendsetter, and Wanderlust. I have the first level plan, Socialite, where you can rent two clothing items and one accessory at a time. It’s great because once you receive your package and wear the pieces, you just send it back and get to pick out new items within days! And you get unlimited rentals each month so you can go through the items as quickly or as slowly as you’d like.
It’s also great because if you fall in love with an item, you have the option to buy it at a discounted price and keep it! You simply don’t send it back with the items you don’t want to keep, FashionPass charges your card on file for that item and wa-la, that’s it! I personally have done this a couple of times because I just loved the item so much. These earrings, for example, are one thing I couldn’t part with, so I bought them!
By now you guys have seen quite a few of my FashionPass purchases over on Instagram. Specifically here, here and here. You can always tell when I’m wearing something from FashionPass because I always tag them in the photo, FYI.
What brands does FashionPass carry?
Glad you asked! FashionPass has a ton of great brands, including ASTR, For Love & Lemons, Show Me Your Mumu, Free People, Lush, BB Dakota, Moon River, the list goes on and on. They also carry clothes from their own line which are super cute and affordable.
How much does FashionPass cost?
My plan costs $79 per month. I know this may seem a little pricey to some, but if you think about it you get to wear at least 3 new pieces each month for under 80 bucks. And I usually will swap items at least once per month so I usually get 6 items each month for under 80 bucks, which is a steal for me. Plus, it helps supplement my existing wardrobe so that I don’t “need” to shop as much because I constantly have new pieces arriving. It’s really a win-win.
If the price tag feels a bit steep for you though, you do have the option to offset the cost by leaving reviews and posting photos on social media. You earn a small dollar amount per review/photo which is then applied to your monthly payment! You can also cancel or pause at any time.

Final Verdict
I love FashionPass. But I do want to note that I highly recommend reading reviews for an item before purchasing. I’ve gotten a few pieces that haven’t fit the way I imagined they would which was a bit disappointing so now I always read reviews. If people are noting that something is a bit sheer, or the bust area is pretty small, etc. I take note before renting that item. It just helps to be informed and know what you’re getting.
Interested in FashionPass? You can try it out and get $60 off your first month if you sign up with this link OR use the code KACIE1. It’s great if you want to supplement your wardrobe like me, or need an outfit for a special occasion coming up (they have great options for vacation and weddings!). And remember that you can pause or cancel your subscription anytime so it doesn’t hurt to try it out one month and see how it goes. Definitely let me know if you try it out! As always you can comment here on the blog, over on Facebook, or Twitter, and DM me on Instagram if you have any questions,!
