Let’s be honest, all days are not created equal; and that means that some days, you just need a little something extra to get you through the day. Yesterday was one of those days for me. It was a rough one at work (I’ll spare you all the details), and I left the office in the middle of a thunderstorm, feeling completely deflated. It’s times like these that I turn to music to get me through. Music can do so many things— uplift your spirits, connect with the sorrow you’re feeling, or put an extra little pep in your step. Yesterday, I just needed some music to a) connect with me and let me feel all the feels, and then b) remind me who the eff I am so I can pick myself back up again ? I’m only human, and I’m not afraid to admit that some days I just can’t find my spark to really get going. So today I wanted to share some of my favorite motivational songs for moments like these. Because we all have days like this, and sometimes music just makes those days a little bit better. Let me know some of your favorite motivational/pick me up songs in the comments!
