Welcome to my monthly recap! Here I’ll share all the things I loved, bought, watched, listened to and more during the previous month.
Guys, how is it even December already? It happens every year and yet I’m always amazed at how quickly the fall and holiday seasons fly by! I totally missed the October recap here on the blog (I’m sorry!) so I definitely wanted to make sure that I got this November Recap post up this week.
Pretty Little Purchases
As we all know, last week was Black Friday/Cyber Weekend which basically took over the entire month of November if we’re being honest. I bought, admittedly, too much stuff but no regrets, right?!
Fave Purchases:
Obsessed with the Frozen collection that Colourpop came out with in honor of Frozen II!
Bought a bunch of boots over the last month but I’m loving these and these right now.
This blanket scarf is the perfect color combo/pattern/coziness level and I’m just totally in love with it.
This new blow dryer is a GAME CHANGER for me! So great and super affordable. 10/10 recommend.
Decided to go with a flocked faux Christmas tree this year and I love it so much! Winter wonderland vibes on 1000.
I’ve worn this sweater more than I’d like to admit since buying it in BOTH color options lol.
Pretty Little Memories
November literally flew by, what with the start of the holiday season and all. Early in the month me and Craig took grad photos for one of our best friends who is graduating from his masters’ program at Columbia University. Then we went over to the official University of Miami (our alma mater) sports bar to watch the ‘Canes crush FSU in the annual football game! We also went to one of our other friend’s screenings for her web-series, Interested In; they’re filming season 2 next year! The following weekend some of my sorority sisters came in town from DC and we hosted a super fun Harry Potter themed party that was basically a dream come true for me, haha. Slytherin didn’t win the night but that’s okay; we’ll get ’em next time.
Finally, Craig and I saw the Rockettes in the Christmas Spectacular show at Radio City Music Hall right before leaving for Thanksgiving the following week. We spent the long weekend in Philly with my family and had so much fun catching up with them and hanging out and eating all the food!

What I Listened to…
Kanye’s new album (finally!) and Christmas music haha. Oh, and Selena Gomez’s Lose You to Love Me. Wow, is it an amazing song!
What I Watched…
We saw Frozen II and really enjoyed it! I kind of want to see it again because I feel like I missed some things but overall it was good—as expected. We also saw Joker which was soo good. Joaquin Phoenix did such a great job, definitely recommend it if you’re on the fence. I also saw the new Maleficent movie with some girlfriends and really enjoyed that one, even though I haven’t seen the first one still. Oops!
Where We Ate…
Catfish
I’ve mentioned this place before on the blog, but we went here with our friends while they were in town from DC. It was our first time getting brunch there and it was so, so good. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy to start. We ordered multiple orders of them lol.
