As most of you know, (if you follow me on social media or read my blog regularly) my fiancé and I moved into a new apartment in Brooklyn last month. (In case you missed it, I talk all about the move in this post!) Obviously the moving process can be slow and monotonous—days/weeks spent unpacking dozens of boxes and bins and living out of suitcases while you unpack everything. So one of my favorite parts of the unpacking process is that feeling when you finally set up something in your space that makes it feel like HOME again. This gallery wall from Poster Store was one of those moments for me!

When Poster Store reached out over the summer to gift us prints to create a gallery wall, I was SO excited. Not only was it perfect timing considering we were planning a move later that summer, but it was also incredibly serendipitous as Craig and I had been trying to plan out a large gallery wall to go above our couch for months. So as you can see we ended up going with eight prints from Poster Store—all gorgeous travel posters since both of us love to travel. I wanted the gallery wall to bring a bit of color to our space, while also feeling cohesive and visually interesting, with a couple of special personal touches that spoke to Craig and I. We absolutely love how it all turned out!

Some notable mentions:

• We opted for a mix of gold and wooden frames to tie in other gold accents we have throughout our apartment and to match our wood living room furniture.
• While the gallery wall is travel-themed, we did add in some personal touches. The top left poster is of the iconic NYC skyline since obviously we live here and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. On the left and right sides of the gallery wall we made sure to incorporate prints of water/the ocean since we both love the ocean. And finally, the top center poster is actually not a travel photo—it’s a stairwell inside of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Yes, the Harry Potter Stans in us just jumped out, haha.
• FYI we ordered two different size prints for our wall—the large prints are 19.7″ x 27.6″ and the medium prints are 11.8″ x 15.7″.
