I’ve mentioned a few times here on the blog and on Instagram that I love hosting. Ever since moving to NYC after college, Craig and I have pretty much become the hosts of our friend group and tend to host quite a few events at our place throughout the year. Our parties range anywhere from small game nights to Super Bowl watch parties and even rooftop BBQs, and no matter what the event we always go all out with the decor, food and all the fun party things that make an event special. So this year, I was really excited when the team at BasicInvite reached out to collaborate! Essentially they’re your dream team if you’re in the market for anything invitation-related. They offer custom invitation sets, wedding websites, and (specifically for today’s post) incredible Save the Date templates!
When people hear the term Save the Date, I feel like weddings are the first thing you think about. But Save the Dates can be for any kind of event you’re throwing! Since I’m obviously not planning a wedding right now (y’all will be the first to know about that when the time comes, hah!) I thought it would be really fun to try out BasicInvite’s Save the Date templates for a Galentine’s Day brunch!
My Experience Customizing My Save the Date Template with BasicInvite
BasicInvite has the cutest Save the Date templates for you to choose from. Their templates are almost fully customizable from fonts to colors to foil options and even paper finishes. They also offer Save the Date wedding magnets if that’s more your style than a postcard invite. After almost an hour of browsing all the options, I finally decided to go with this design from their Save the Date template options and immediately was taken to the customization page where I could input all the information that I wanted to include on the card, and pick out the colors and fonts, which update in real time.
BasicInvite’s customization options are pretty extensive so I loved the added ability to order a single sample of the final product to physically see and hold in your hands before moving forward and ordering them in bulk. Seriously, if you’re in the market for cheap Save the Date postcards I cannot recommend BasicInvite enough!
More On BasicInvite
BasicInvite did a fantastic job on my custom Galentine’s Day brunch Save the Dates, but again, they offer so much more than just those. They offer full packages for wedding day stationery including invitations, envelopes (that come in over 40 different colors), place cards, programs, menu cards, even thank you cards for after the big day! They have tons of gorgeous templates for other major life events too such as bridal and baby showers, birthdays, and graduations. They’re seriously a one-stop-shop for any of your event stationery needs.
A huge thank you to BasicInvite for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
