Happy Tuesday babes! This look is actually from about two weeks ago and will be the last summer-y outfit for a while on PLH. Seriously, RIP summer but also, like, bring on the pumpkin spice and cozy sweaters! Did I mention that fall is my favorite season (by like a landslide)? Well it is, so I’m super excited to bring those looks your way soon. Any way back to this outfit, accompanied by the most perfect accessory I could have ever asked for…this blue MoPed! Seriously y’all, how adorable is this thing? Okay, I’ll stop fan-girling now. On to the deets…
First, let’s just get it out of the way now that my skirt and bodysuit are from Forever 21. I know, I know, I sound like a broken record if you’re familiar with my other fashion posts but seriously, you can find some great pieces at Forever 21. Plus, life in NYC is expensive AF and a real girl doesn’t always have the money to drop $100 on ONE top (or one outfit for that matter). So, yes this outfit is brought to you by Forever 21, my tried and true go-to. Love the lace up detail on the front of the skirt. Such a feminine touch to a simple denim mini, plus the added bonus of hiding any post-lunch bloat, ha! My bodysuit is seriously the softest material so it’s really comfortable, yet structured enough that you don’t feel like you’ll be flopping all over the place if you go bra-less. (Yup had to add that in there!)
My shoes are from Lola’s Shoetique— great for cute and affordable shoes! My bracelet/watch combo is actually from *gasp* Walmart, you guys. I know, I couldn’t believe it either. I stumbled upon it one day and had to have it. A watch plus four matching bracelets? Yes, please! And finally my purse is from Ivanka Trump. Yes. You read that correctly. Don’t even get me started haha.
That’s it for me today! How do you guys feel about the bodysuit trend that took over 2017? I know I’m super late to that bandwagon but I have to say I’m a big fan. I bought this one and two others in black in the same shopping trip, ha!
