Another NY Minute/OOTD post coming your way. It’s no secret that I love to throw on a breezy dress when the weather warms up, and this bright orange number is no exception. It’s a super lightweight maxi, with buttons down the front and the cutest ruffle sleeves. I’d originally purchased this beauty for my Mexico trip earlier this year, but didn’t get around to wearing it so I knew it would be perfect for a hot, Brooklyn summer day.
My favorite thing about dresses is that they’re the easiest pieces to throw on in your closet, yet they make it look like you really tried that morning. Some days, especially hot ones, I just don’t feel like putting together two matching pieces or figuring out an outfit that’s cool and comfortable. So dresses are my go-to. Paired with some cute sandals or espadrilles, a cute purse and some fun earrings, and your girl is out the door. I also know my theory is true because I swear I get twice the number of compliments on dress days, lol.
