Confession time; originally I was going to do one big post of Thanksgiving outfit ideas for you guys BUT I decided that I want to split them into their own separate posts instead. These outfits turned out to be some of my favorites this season and I didn’t want to sell them short by cramming them into one post?. So today I present to you Thanksgiving outfit numero uno, and stay tuned because outfit number two will be coming at you very soon! I’ll also be instagramming some more Thanksgiving outfit ideas so be sure to follow me there if you don’t already! But let’s get into it, shall we?
So first of all, it was actually freezing outside when we shot this; but this vest and chunky sweater combo actually kept me pretty warm! My vest is from Old Navy and it’s the first quilted vest I’ve ever owned and I’m obsessed! I got this during the outerwear sale they’ve had going on for a couple of weeks now (you know, the sale that I mentioned in last week’s Weekly Rewind post 😉 ) so it was only $20. You can’t beat that price, plus it’s amazing for layering in the cold months ahead! My exact vest is sold out online 🙁 but linking to very similar styles here (this one looks a bit thicker—perfect for winter!) and here (such a pretty silver for the holidays!) and they’re BOTH ON MAJOR SALE!
Moving on to my sweater; it’s actually from American Eagle Outfitters (so are my jeans obviously) and it’s sooo soft you guys. I feel like it’s such a classic, staple piece for fall and winter and if you don’t have a cream knit sweater at this point, go get you one now, ha! This one is super similar to the one I’m wearing and also comes in two other colors.
My jeans, like I said, are also American Eagle…you already know it’s my favorite. My socks are also from American Eagle and I love pairing them with my tall boots to show a little bit peaking out at the tops. I don’t know why, that’s just always been a fave style of mine, ha! You can also find some great sock options at Target for really affordable prices. Just check for “knee-high boot socks” on the label so you know they’ll be tall enough to show over boots. #ProTip Speaking of Target, my boots are actually from there (from last year)! They have a really similar pair this year, linked here for ya. My belt is from H&M for UNDER $10. And my necklace was a birthday gift from my boyfriend last year 🙂
Stay tuned for Thanksgiving outfit number two coming to the blog soon! Can you believe it’s only a week away?!
