As promised, I have another Thanksgiving outfit idea for you guys! This one has got to be one of my favorite outfits this fall because of this amazing mustard cardigan and ridiculously soft blanket scarf. I know Thanksgiving is only a few days away at this point, so while it’s a bit too late to order anything, you can definitely get some inspiration from this outfit. If you’ve been wondering what to pair with your own mustard-colored pieces or couldn’t figure out how to dress up a simple tank and cardigan, this one’s for you. Okay. Can we just talk about this cardigan for a second? I never thought that I would own such a mustard-colored piece of clothing but I have to say I’m not mad at it, ha! This cardigan is from Mandee and I think it’s perfect for Thanksgiving because a) the color is super “fall” and b) it’s perfect to layer over a simple tank or t-shirt to hide that food baby after dinner ? #amiright? This one has pockets which I love and is the perfect length to wear with jeans or leggings if you’re worried about covering your bum.
My tank and jeans are both from American Eagle Outfitters as you probably already know. This tank is the perfect basic piece that can pair with anything, and it’s super soft! Highly recommend stocking up on a few of these during their inevitable Black Friday sales coming up.
My booties are from JustFab and I gave these a full review in this post from earlier this fall. I love a good pair of brown booties and these are made even better with the cute buckle details and a sturdy heel. Moving on to my scarf (aka my other favorite part of this outfit); it’s from a brand called ilymix. They actually reached out to me on Instagram since I kept mentioning how much I’ve been wanting a blanket scarf this season (as mentioned in this fall trends post 😉 ) so of course I had to check out their stuff and found this little beauty. It’s super soft and really big so you can wear it a number of ways and it keeps you so cozy. I definitely recommend them and they have a ton of options on the website. Scarves also make great gifts, but I would recommend ordering them sooner than later because shipping did take a couple of weeks since they’re based in China.
