Happy Christmas Eve! A couple months ago, I shared my fall Trader Joe’s haul and you guys seemed to love it! TJ’s is one of my favorite grocery stores so I’m always looking for an excuse to go back; and I figured this holiday season was the perfect excuse. They have so many fun seasonal treats that I knew I had to head to the store and try out some goodies to share with you guys in my first ever Trader Joe’s Holiday Haul! I’ll just say right off the bat that the theme of this haul is probably chocolate and peppermint and there are NO complaints here haha. Let’s get into it!

Breaking down my full Trader Joe’s Holiday Haul below with a few notes on everything I’ve tried so far. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of these or any products I missed that you swear by. For example, my best friend LOVES the candy cane Joe Joe’s cookies and brought them over one day for me to try. They were tasty but a bit indulgent (even for me lol) so they’re not something I’d finish a whole box of on my own. Okay, back to my haul below:
Trader Joe’s Holiday Haul 2019
- Organic Hot Cocoa Toaster Pastries: These by themselves are a little dry but I imagine when toasted they get nice and gooey in the middle and are delicious! Will report back.
- Hot Cocoa O’s Cereal
- Hot Cocoa Dunkers: These are like crispy chocolate cookies with a chocolate coating on the bottom. Again, these are a little dry but they have good flavor. They’re probably super tasty when dunked into a glass of milk or hot cocoa!
- Chocolate Peppermint Almond Beverage: I like this so much more than I liked the pumpkin almond beverage from my last haul! The flavor is nice and light, and it kind of tastes like a grown up chocolate milk. I used this as coffee creamer one day and found that I needed a little extra creamer but I also prefer my coffee that way. Worth a try!
- Candy Cane Joe Joe’s Ice Cream: It’s like a peppermint and vanilla ice cream swirled with the Joe Joe cookies (so similar to a peppermint cookies and cream)—yum!
- “I Dream of Chocolate Cake” Cake: This lives in the frozen section and looks to die for! I haven’t tried it yet but I can’t wait.
- Dark Chocolate Stars: Omg these cookies are amazing. They’re shortbread star cookies, covered in dark chocolate and white sprinkles. They’re so delicious and I got my coworkers hooked on them!
- Mini Dark Chocolate Mint Stars: The mini version of the above cookies but they’re dark chocolate cookies dipped in dark chocolate. They aren’t overly minty which is nice too, and they’re bite-size!
- Peppermint Hot Chocolate
- Mini Peppermint Marshmallows: Lightly minty and a great addition to your cup of cocoa!
- Chocolate Peppermint Loaf & Baking Mix
- Black Truffle Alfredo Pasta Sauce
- Peppermint Pretzel Slims: Wow, these are so delicious and definitely one of my favorite purchases in this holiday haul. I’ve seen them all over Instagram this month and rightfully so. They’re amazing, just go try them for yourself.
