This is a NEW category that I’m adding to these Weekly Rewinds 🙂 Here I’ll break down random things I’m loving this week, such as music, movies, TV shows, a news story, and so on. Just another way for you and me to connect really.
- My new french press! I bought this Bodum French Press last summer (lol) and finally got around to using it over the weekend. It was my first time making my own cold brew and it actually came out so good! I started doing this so I could stop spending $6 per day on coffee, lol. Let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing how I do that, maybe on Instagram stories?
- Like I mentioned last week, I put in a huge spring shoe order with JustFab recently and they all came in this week! One of my favorite pairs is pretty different from my usual style so I’m excited to share that haul with you guys very soon.
- Sweetbitter. It’s a new show on Starz that follows a girl who moves to NYC and gets mixed up with a pretty…interesting crowd, ha! It’s only two episodes in but I’m definitely intrigued so far.
- The new Gal Meets Glam collection came out for May (well, half of it)! Of course it’s all gorgeous, but I’ve been trying to exercise some self-control this time around. It’s not really treating yourself if you do it every single month, ha!
- This post from Lauren of Lauren Kay Sims, announcing that her and her husband are expecting their first baby! That’s SO exciting, especially because I’ve been following Lauren since before I started my blog so I’m super happy for her and her husband!

Cheers to the freakin’ weekend! Let’s talk plans, shall we?
This weekend (yet again) is supposed to be super rainy in the city so I don’t have too many plans. Tomorrow I’m getting my hair done (to cut it or not cut it?!), and on Sunday, Craig and I are going to a friend’s birthday brunch at one of our favorite places, PS 450. It’s a boozy brunch with a great DJ, great food and great vibes! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a boozy brunch in NYC. Other than that I’ll be packing for Mexico and doing some organizing around the apartment, which I’m actually really looking forward to. I bought these hangers for our clothing rack (this will hold spring/summer clothes & new purchases) and this jewelry organizer so I can’t wait to go through the closet and organize! Does that make me a grandma? If so, I accept that. This is 25, kids! ?
