Pretty Little Updates

Wowowow guys. First off, hey there! Sorry for my mini disappearance this past week. As most of y’all know I went to Mexico last weekend for a Bachelorette weekend trip and I guess I needed this week to recover? Ha! And on top of that, it’s JUNE! What? When did this happen? I swear May just started. Last month was a bit of a whirlwind but I’m actually feeling really good about going into June. I mean I (mostly) got my blogging back on track, I’ve (finally) started sending out newsletters to my #NewsletterSquad, things are going great at my day job, and I left the country for the first time! What more could I want?

But onto the important stuff; if you read this post you know that I’m all about giving back more and really trying to make a more positive impact in my life and in the world. So since April, I’ve been donating to one charity of my choosing each month and I’ve been loving it! I forgot to mention it over on social media (oops!) so I figured I’d include it here for you in case you want to join me! Check out the amazing charities that I’ve donated to so far and feel free to donate yourself or send me some organizations that you personally love and maybe I’ll choose them in an upcoming month ?

Here I’ll break down random things I’m loving this week, such as music, movies, TV shows, a news story, and so on. Just another way for you and me to connect really.

1. The Bachelorette is back!! I really want to do some kind of recap or Instagram story series during this season but I haven’t quite figured it out yet, so stay tuned for that.
2. Amazon Prime. I’ve been ordering things like a mad woman lately, lol. Something about that free two-day shipping…
3. This pale blue nail polish. I mentioned it in my Favorite Nail Polishes for Spring post and have been wearing it for weeks!
4. Aloe Blacc’s new song, “Brooklyn In The Summer“. I’ve been OBSESSED!
5. Just placed a pretty big order with ColourPop Cosmetics and if you’ve been reading my blog for a while then you know this is one of my FAVE makeup brands, like ever. They have seriously amazing products for unbeatable prices and do exclusive collabs with some awesome youtubers/influencers that are always bomb.com. Check them out and DM me if you want any recommendations! (Hmm, maybe that should be a future blog post…?)
6. Traveling! Now that I’ve got my first stamp in my passport I can’t wait to see more of the world. Mexico was absolutely amazing and I think it’s high time I put my Travel Bucket List to work 😉

Down for a little summer shopping? Here’s what I have my eye on this week!

Rompers are always a good idea. They’re like a dress’s carefree cousin. You can dress them up or down and they work for almost any occasion. Rompers are my go-to when the weather heats up, so I’ll definitely be stocking up on some more of these babies this summer. I’m thinking light and airy fabrics, bright colors, and maybe a cute pattern? So many options, so little time.

Cheers to the freakin’ weekend! Let’s talk plans, shall we?

Ahh my first weekend back in NYC. I think the weather isn’t supposed to be too nice this weekend so I want to take this time to be productive and also get in some relaxation time. Today is my first Summer Friday (when the office closes at 1pm every Friday during the summer!) and Craig is out of town until Sunday so I’m not too sure about plans for tonight. Tomorrow is supposed to be stormy all day, so I’ll probably capitalize on that weather by staying in and getting things done around the apartment. And Sunday will be spent with Craig once he’s home. I can’t lie, I miss him a LOT! So lowkey weekend over here and I’m not mad about it ?
