Today we are keeping it short & sweet. I gave you guys a bit of heavy reading in my last couple of posts (here and here) so I figured today we can just take it easy. Sound good? And what better way to take it easy than in my favorite, oversize knit sweater? Seriously y’all, I love this thing. It’s been my go-to for those mildly chilly days and nights and it’s the perfect casual, slouchy fit. Also a major fan of the open back detail so I can show off my favorite bralettes, but you’ll have to stick around to see that 😉
You know the drill, let’s get into the details shall we? My sweater is from Forever 21 and like I said, it’s my favorite for a quick and easy outfit, plus I love the relaxed fit. You can dress it up or down, and this time I decided to dress it down and keep a casual vibe since we were just running a few errands that day. I paired it with my favorite pair of ripped jeans from—you guessed it: American Eagle, ha! You guys have seen these before in this post styled with one of my other favorite fall sweaters. I honestly can’t say enough good things about American Eagle’s jeans so I’ll just link to some of my current faves that are in my online shopping cart as we speak!
Finally onto my shoes. If you follow me on instagram (which you totally should 😉 ) you may have seen my unboxing of these babies in my insta stories about a week ago. These are the Warda leather mules from Ivanka Trump’s line and (full disclosure) they were kind enough to send them my way as part of their fall gifting 🙂 Regardless of that (and I promise to always give my 100% honest opinion), I love them! They are exactly what I’ve been looking for over the past few months and I couldn’t be happier with the fit and quality. Seriously you guys, I was super impressed with the quality of these shoes and I know I’ll get some good wear out of them this season with minimal worries that they won’t survive the hustle and bustle of NYC.
