Another Sunday, another #SundayChat. Well friends, for today’s post I actually have a few mini(?) announcements to make. After two months of blogging (counting the time that I was posting on this site before it was actually live) naturally I’ve learned a few things. I already talked about some of the major lessons I’ve learned in my first month blogging (check that out if you’re considering starting your own blog!) so I’m not going to get into that again today, ha! For now I just wanted to mention that a few things will be changing here on PLH starting this week, based on things I’ve noticed so far.
First off, my posting schedule is going to shift. You guys probably didn’t even notice but I’ve been posting on a pretty consistent Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday schedule since the blog launched. Next month (November) I want to try posting on the opposite days, so you can now expect posts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday…
*gasp* Friday?! But what about Sunday Chats? Well I’ve decided to put these chats on pause for now while I focus my efforts on a new series of posts that will be on Fridays! Sunday Chats are fun and I totally plan to bring them back in the future when I see fit, but for now I want to try something new and I’m really excited about it. So now on Fridays you can expect a new series of posts called #WeeklyRewinds! These posts will kind of be a compilation of a few things like things I’m loving that week, weekend sales for you guys to check out, weekend/upcoming plans, and things like that. I think these posts will be a good way for me to reflect each week and share more of my “off-the-blog” life with you all!
Okay my next “announcement” if you will, is a little bit of shameless self-promotion but stick with me, ha! Basically I just want to let you guys know that you can now follow me/PLH on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Bloglovin’! This is really exciting for me because I get to engage with you all even when I’m not here on the blog. If you’re loving my content here so far, I highly recommend (and would love to see you!) joining me on my different social channels. I post much more regularly (pretty much daily on IG) and love talking to you guys. Bloglovin’ and Facebook are also great because if you follow PLH on there, my new posts go directly to your feed so you can check them out there! Bloglovin’ is like a one-stop shop for all of your favorite blogs and can also send you notifications when I post something new if you use the app. (Psst! You can also get new post notifications via email by joining my email list over in the side bar. I have some pretty fun plans coming up for the holidays that will be exclusive to email subscribers…just saying 😉 )
Well, that’s it for me today. I just wanted to pop on here to say hey, let you guys know where my head is at, and what to expect from PLH moving forward. What do you guys think of these changes?
